Rick Chitwood, BSME is an energy consultant, building tester, and trainer. He is the owner of Chitwood Energy Management a whole house, performance based HVAC and insulation contracting firm where installers test the performance of their own work.
Rick's passion for energy conservation started 25 years ago installing domestic hot water solar and thinking solar was "the answer" to residential energy conservation. Now Rick's firm focuses on the true "tested" energy performance of the hundreds of components that impact energy consumption, comfort, IAQ, and building maintenance and durability.
